New York | Upper East Side | 1800 sf
The project involved the renovation of a 1,800SQF upper east side apartment located in a prewar Landmark building. The apartment was entirely gutted and reconfigured over a 2 years period. As the former Global CEO and Chairman of J. Walter Thompson, our client wanted a design with a strong narrative behind which we found into the client's Italian roots. Overall the design is an homage to the Italian artists, design and furniture makers spanning the 1960/70s. Each room is designed to tell a specific story: from the cane panels entry foyer with its secret doors to the Kennedy Room, a perfect setting for the client's memorabilia of JFK.
